Bluebell ride and a ride to Bartley Green

John led a longer hilly ride to see the bluebells in Great Farley woods, with a coffee break at Rowberry's garden centre in Chaddesley Corbett.  

A bright sunny day, with lovely views of blossom, bluebells and rolling countryside.

Twenty-one riders in two groups to Costa Coffee in the city centre, returning all together along the towpath.

Jewellery Quarter

Richard led a group of eight on an enjoyable ride to the Jewellery Quarter.  The outward route took in the university, Edgbaston reservoir and the Soho loop.  On the return we negotiated the uphill path alongside the locks on the Fazeley canal and the city centre before joining the Rea Valley route.

Beckett's Farm

A drizzly start, brighter and dry later.  Richard led eight riders to Beckett's Farm, where we were shocked to discover that the price of a cup of coffee has risen from £2.95 to £3.25 since our last visit.

Arrow Valley

John led six riders to Arrow Valley.  The return route took into account that some riders who are happy to go down Wast Hills Lane are distinctly less enthusiastic when it comes to going up.

Lizzie's Farm, Lydiate Ash

Sixteen riders split into two groups for a ride to Lizzie's Farm at Lydiate Ash.  The groups took slightly different routes on the way out, then stayed together for the return trip.
