Richard led 12 riders via an unusual route which included some new and hilly stretches, notably Alvechurch Highway from Lydiate Ash to Old Birmingham Road. As often with uphills, there were also some attractive downhills, eg Twatling Road towards Barnt Green village.
Fairly chilly start, with warm sunshine as we sat outside at the café.
