The Wave Earlswood

 A very pleasant warm and sunny day for a ride to the Wave at Earlswood. A regular route for some although roadworks at Whitepits Lane proved a little troublesome to get past. Eight riders managed to drink their coffees outside in the Wave's garden in warm sunshine. The return journey was split with the quicker riders taking the route via Fulford golf course and Becketts Farm back and the more sedate riders taking the route that's marked on the attached route 

Waseley hills

 11 riders met at  the start but 10 started and 9 riders made it to the cafe at Waseley.  The weather was sunny but cold to start with. Frank was out on his latest bike!! Jane Flowers made a surprise appearance from Somerset and came on the ride. The route is here

The Deli Belbroughton

 Six riders on a sunny but very blustery day rode to the Deli in Belbroughton. Luckily we managed to get a seat inside out of the cold wind. A quicker journey on the way back with the wind behind us. The route is here here

Costa Dickens Heath

 Today's ride was originally destined for The Stables at Illshaw Heath. However, with road closures around Braggs Lane we decided to cut short the ride and divert to the Costa at Dickens Heath. Nine riders out with San joining us at Costa. A cool wind but sunny return. the route is here

Gin and Pickles Alvechurch

 9 out on a surprisingly cold morning went to Alvechurch but the usual destination was very busy so tried a new venue next to the Lounge called Gin and Pickles where we were made welcome. the route is here

Bromsgrove Garden Centre

 A pleasant day for a bike ride to Bromsgrove Garden Centre at Littleheath Lane. Ten riders today managed to squeeze into the busy cafe there. All of us hoped that Richard O, after his accident, will be back with us soon. The route is here

Wednesday 18 February Desco Lounge Shirley

 Wednesday's ride was to the Desco Lounge in Shirley. A tried and tested route on a very cold but dry day. Six riders who were glad to get home so that they could warm themselves up. The route is here

Costa Brindley Place

 Sun at last!! but very very cold. 5 out on ride into town via the Blue route to Costa. Very busy. Back via Edgbaston Reservoir which was very full at last, then Harborne Walkway back to Rowheath. The route is here

The Wave Earlswood

Yet another wet and dismal morning for a ride to The Wave at Earlswood. A regular route although on the way back we had to make detours to avoid flooded roads. Five riders out. The route is here

Birmingham University Music Room

 6 out on a damp and cold morning. It was nice to see the return of Liz following her Welsh adventure. We went to a new venue in Birmingham University's square below Big Joe which was good. The rain on the return was not! The route is here

The Lounge Alvechurch

Eight riders to the The Lounge at Alvechurch. Dreary and cold start but weather improved on way back. Familiar route there but riders given opportunity to choose their own way back. Map attached showing route of main party on their return is here

The Garden Cafe Cannon Hill Park

 12 riders out today on dry and bright morning. We split into two groups with one going to Cannon Hill via the canal and the park while the others went via Yardley Wood the route for this ride is here. As the MAC was very busy we went to the Garden Cafe. 

The Potting Shed Lydiate Ash

 The Wednesday group first ride to the Potting Shed at Lydiate Ash this new year. A very cold but bright and sunny day with no wind. A lot of water coming off the fields near to Lydiate Ash. However, no ice as was forecast which put many people off coming out. Five riders. The route is here

The Exchange Broad Street

 On the first dry Saturday for a long time but very cold and windy,  14 riders met up but only 13 went on the ride down the canal into town.  Returning along the river Rea route with some sunshine!  The route is here 

Starbucks Maypole

7 out on a bright and sunny ride to the Maypole. Flood on Primrose Hill meant the party split with some going via Druids Heath to avoid Gay Hill. The route is  here

The Exchange

 On the frosty windless  ride today there were only two of us.We went straight along the canal to Birmingham for coffee at The Exchange and back again the same way. Richard O.
