Two Mugs Cafe Shirley

 Today's ride was to the Two Mugs Cafe in Shirley. A warm but breezy day. Five riders in total. Many of the group on holiday this week or have grand parenting duties .Nice to bump into Phil on our outward journey and hope to see her soon on a Saturday. The route is here

two ride today: The shorter went to Lizzies farm Lydiate Ash the longer ride over canals and Parks to Rowley Regis.

 Today we decided to make a return to Lizzie's Farm even though we had been there recently. Seven turned up for this shorter ride. A very pleasant day with cooling breeze. A familiar route. The Farm was very busy.  The route is here

Richard O led a ride to Bumble Hole, but possibly because Netherton Tunnel was mentioned only 2 riders completed the ride along quiet canals and through parks and over Rowley Regis hills. the route is here

The Stables Illshaw Heath

 Seven riders out on a very warm and sticky Wednesday. Even the slight breeze was warm. Today we went to The Stables at Illshaw Heath. Pleasant, if rather hot, to take our coffee and cake outside to watch the Horse riding lessons in progress. The route is here

Saturday 18 July Earlswood Garden Centre

 Our Saturday ride was the shorter way to Earlswood Garden Centre. Nine riders on a warm day. The Centre's bike stands were full today with other bikers. Becoming a very popular destination. Bob had a problem with his chain jamming on the way home but with brute force and a bloody hand he managed to fix it and carry on. The route is here

Today's ride took into consideration the very warm weather. So a shorter than usual Wednesday ride using a familiar route to The Lounge in Alvechurch. Six riders enjoying the breeze on the downward stretches and struggling with the plus 30 degrees on the upward ones. The route is here

9 rider on a bright sunny morning rode via the canal  to University Station where we took the cycle route to  get onto the Bournbrook cycle route through Woodgate Valley and then onto The Sailing club at Bartley Green for coffee. the route is here

 On a sunny morning with a threat of rain 10 riders went via Brandwood End Cemetery to Dickens Heath for Coffee returning via Houndsfield ford where we had a rain shower and a further heavy one in Wychall road. the route is  here

Costa Brindley Place.

 Having cancelled the longer 9.30 ride to Lowsonford due to wet weather. The 10.00 ride started with 9 riders going via the university and along the Harborne Walkway into town where the rain stopped and the sun came out for the return along the Worcester canal stopping to admire the orchids alongside the towpath near Bournville. here

Wednesday 3rd June Becketts Farm Shop/cafe

With the weather forecast indicating possible heavy showers and even thunder it was decided to meet at Rowheath and make a decision about ride at 10.00. Five of us decided to chance the rain and proceeded to Beckett's Farm. Four of us eventually got to  our destination slightly damp. Richard 'Ghostrider' O didn't quite make it all the way and like all good spectres disappeared shortly before Beckett's eventually finding himself at Dicken's Heath| At Beckett's it was nice to meet up with San and Phil for a catch up and coffee.
