Bartley sailing club

A cool cloudy morning with a steady fine drizzle.  Steven led 14 riders to Bartley sailing club via Woodgate Valley.

Waseley Hills and Kanteen café, Custard Factory

Two rides today.  

Steven took five on this convoluted route, incorporating Fox Hollies Park, Jubilee Park in Olton, Lyndon Playing Fields, and the towpath of the Grand Union, to the Kanteen café at the Custard Factory.'

The remaining six riders went to Waseley Hills. The route is here.

Earlswood garden centre

A heavy shower for most of the ride out, dry on the way back, and some welcome warm sun as we arrived home.

Costa Coffee, city centre

Steven took a group of twelve, including new rider Helen, to the Costa by the NIA, out by the Harborne Walkway and reservoir, returning along the towpath. There were showers, but fortunately the heavy one was during the stop.

King's Heath park

A warm and sunny day for Steven's ride via a roundabout route to King's Heath park.

Packwood House

Brian led an enjoyable brisk circular ride to Packwood House, out via Tanworth, back via Hockley Heath.  

Mostly bright and sunny, with a breeze.

The weather forecast turned out to be all too accurate.  After the hottest day of the year yesterday, the four who turned up at Rowheath on Saturday surveyed the rain and decided to call off the ride.
